The folks here are very nice. Great ocean views. Very clean and organized. They are very strict on their rules and particular about the cleanliness and order of the park. Not very good for small dogs or children.
This really is a beautiful place. Beautiful views of the sunsets. Unfortunately, no beach and the rocks used on the roads and parking pads were so sharp our dog could not walk on them. Great place for couples, not so good for families or pets.
We just spent 10 days at Sunshine Key where management doesn't enforce the rules. After all the reviews we have seen, Grassy Key is our next RV Park for our yearly trip. You don't know bad until you have boat motors going all hours, people pressure washing boats at 7am, a camper, boat, trailer, 10x20 tent, two golf cart and two cars on a site so you can't even pull out of your site. Grassy Key sounds like heaven over places like Sunshine and Fiesta Key
Great staff and pristine well manicured grounds and facilities. Well worth the extra cost and planning. Respect the rules.
This was our favorite of the three RV campgrounds that we visited during early December 2016 (others being Point of View and Boyd's). They are somewhat strict in their rules, but that makes it better for everyone. Very helpful in setting up and anything needed. We had waterfront site #1 in our 32' Class C. Lots of space between sites, and a very nice but kind of small pool in a shady area. The site came with two chaise loungers on the beach just for us, which was great since we flew down and rented our RV and hence had no chairs with us. There are no showers to use here (bathhouse) though, which was a negative. A very nice clubhouse with a lot of useful brochures and information about area attractions. We often walked to the SS Wreck bar and restaurant, which had fantastic food! The big dolphin attraction is right there as well.
