I was in a car accident (T-BONED) totalling out my car, so "ERIE INS, in PA." was the guys Ins agency, whom approved the car rental, in MARATHON, FLORIDA. "PATTY", was so kindly to help me with this, OR SHOULD I SAY... "WAS"!!! 2 days before I was to return the car, I was "MANDATORY EVACUATED" by HURRICANE IRMA!!
Reserved a car online fine but there were no actual cars. We are in a semi and parked it and walked 1.5 miles to the enterprise to sit and wait hours for no cars to show up. We are now walking 1.5 miles back to the semi and going to key west to rent one. They definitely should not be allowing people to reserve online if there aren't even any vehicles on the lot
She said "No, I just don't want to" or something along those lines. I then called the Key West branch again and asked the person to talk to the Marathon Manager and she FINALLY and RELUCTANTLY agreed to rent it to me. This is after over 90 minutes of arguing. She knew we were in a hard position as there are not many options to get to the Key West Airport early in the morning from Marathon. She also said things along the lines like "they're obviously not from here" and other derogatory items.
Pros: the man who retrieved our car was very sweet and helpful. Cons: the woman (manager) that rented to us was a monster. From the moment I walked into the Marathon, Florida branch I was discriminated against. The woman simply just did not like me and did not want to rent to me and my friend.
She said we were NOT allowed to pick up the car & drop it off in Key West. I asked her to please call the Key West office and she refused. I called the Key West branch myself & they said "sure no problem - that is not an issue whatsoever." When I went back in and explained to the Marathon Manager Key West said it would be okay, she STILL would not rent to me.
I reserved a truck on May 11th to be picked up on Wednesday the 17th at 10:00 am. I arrive at Enterprise and am told "We don't have any trucks right now. They're supposed to be sending me some from Miami today but I don't know when they will get here. Sorry" Very poor service!
Customer service was horrible, rude and inconsiderate. They had little to no concern for their customers.
