The doctor here is Excellent BUT The receptionist needs replaced! Donna took it upon herself to CANCEL my husband's appointment when he called to ask if he Might be able to reschedule because he was having trouble aquiring transportation. When she told him if he missed today's appointment the doctor would likely drop him, the conversation was over. She NEVER SAID, Call back and Confirm. So I got him a bus and came with him Only to get here and find out that SHE GAVE HIS APPOINTMENT AWAY. SHE CANCELLED HIM ON HER OWN BEHALF! What Kind of Unprofessional Poor excuse of a Doctor's Receptionist Does That??!!! TO TELL A PATIENT THEY CAN'T MISS THE APPOINTMENT THAN CANCEL IT ON HIM??!!!
I fell on some hard times, and became a slave to the drink. The staff here at GCC welcomed me with open arms and embraced me in my time of need. They were all very helpful and genuinely concerned about my detox and recovery. I was supplied with a comfortable bed in a dorm room, a hot shower, and three daily meals, along with necessary medication to mitigate withdrawal symptoms and a daily consultation with a doctor. They also encouraged all of us to attend AA meetings held in the facility, and offered advice on where to go after my departure. This place was a godsend for me!
I am discussed by the behavior of these facility. I was in the keys and mthen son's heartbeat was irregular so I searched online for the closest clinic and guidance clinic was the closest medical center around. I had to interrupt the people sitting in the reception to ask for someone to take my son's blood pressure? Only. Their response was simple "we can't because we would have to do 47 pages of paper work, go to Walgreens they have a machine" when did medical attention become a business instead a service.
Doctors here must be underpaid bc they don't care at all about patients. Never met a staff so uninformed about their specialty. They do not inform patients about their condition or the medication forced down their throats. Very dingy, dirty, outdated facility. The food is worse than prison.
