Nice staff. Very good food. Inexpensive. Large portions. I had the garlic shrimp in a tomato sauce and it was delicious. My wife had a chicken dish with lime and peppers and it was very good too. Seating area is tiny. The restaurant is very plain. If you are looking for an upscale place, this is not it. Seems like a good place to pick up a to-go order.
Small place, but delicious food with big portions. My husband and I got the chicken Milanesa, which was $14, but it was huge! The two of us split it, and we still had leftovers.
While returning from key West, me and my brother decided to give this place a try. This was our first time trying Cuban food and we were pleasantly surprised. This place turned out to be the highlight of the trip (food wise) and we tried all kinds of food ranging from Mediterranean restaurant to Jamaican food to Japanese among others. We ordered yellow tail fish with rice and beans and shrimp curry with rice and beans. The serving size was huge and the prices were very reasonable. They use lot of spices and that's how we cook our food in Nepal. So, it gave us the feeling of eating at a local restaurant back home. The down side was limited parking and the communication with the servers was also limited as they hardly spoke English and I don't know Spanish. But that's something I can live with. The ratings are for the value we got for the price we paid. I highly recommend this place if you are in that area.
When I walked in here to grab a quick coffee there was only one person in front of me and two people sitting at tables. There were four employees, maybe more, working - two were behind the counter. There's a sign saying "Place Order Here". Instead of acknowledging I had entered the two employees behind the counter seemed concerned with completion of the other patron's order after a lengthy conversation the two of them had about something.
It took about 10 minutes waiting before one of them asked me what I wanted, when person before me got tired of standing there and sat down. This made me really agitated, to wait so long for a coffee that could have taken 30 seconds.
It might have good food, but you probably won't get it quickly.
Had the yellow tail sandwich. It was good. Did nit cone with fries. Grilled chicken sandwhich was good. Came with fries. Watermelon juice was chunky and not that great. Pineapple juice was smooth and delicious. Will come back.
