When you walk in, there is a prominent fresh fish cooler. If you have a fresh catch, you can bring it with you and the cooks will prepare it in any of the ways already on the menu. We walked in and were able to sit at a table outside on the sand overlooking the water. The sun sets on the other side of the highway, but the sky was still beautiful to watch as we sat and ate.

I would give Lazy Days 10 stars if I could - so so so good.

Seafood was the wonderful. Excellent service. I had the Hog Snapper. Very large portion. Prepared perfectly. I have made this place a must visit when I return to the keys.

If you want to class things up a bit, you can head to the second floor. People tended to be dressed more formally on that floor. There is also a big balcony if you want to watch the sky and look out at the water but don't want to sit on the sand in plastic chairs.

The scallops were hands down the best that I've had - and that is saying something. I will return here time and again to try absolutely everything on the menu. Lazy Days has become a staple for me, and also a five-star, two thumbs way up recommendation for anyone heading down to (or coming back from) the Keys. Try anything on the menu (we tried quite a few items) and you won't be disappointed.

Place was empty......food was terrible. Has great potential, but stay away in the interim.

Great location with wonderful view of the sunset over the calm blue water of the Florida Keys. This is what I imagined a nice dinner in the Keys to be like. I suggest eating outdoors. The food is good and as everywhere else that does this type of meal, I love how everybody gets a salad first and then sides later on with their meal. It fills you up and is delicious! If I do return to the keys I will return here!

We took our catch from our deep sea fishing trip. Chef Lupe prepared excellent meals. This is a great deal . Many restaurants offer a $15.99 plate for a catch your own fish, but Chef Lupe had a couple options that were just a couple dollars up charge and they were excellent.

If you thought that your road trip to beautiful Key West from Miami couldn't get better, prepare for your mind (and taste buds) to be blown! Lazy Days is an awesome mix of classy and casual - so don't worry what you're wearing or how you show up. We were driving back to Miami from the Keys and stopped here (after reading amazing Yelp reviews, actually). After days of lounging and swimming and gallivanting around Duvall Street, we were comfortable in shorts and sweatshirts. Stopping here seemed like an easy way to end our trip - with amazing food. We had no idea what we were in for.
