Pretty authentic Mexican. Green sauce isn't all that hot like I wss told. Pleasant waitress, good prices. Need to have lunch specials.
This small family owned restaurant has to be by far the greatest experience I ever had. I recently became a regular and have ended up ordering almost everything on their menu. Its a small menu but the portion for some are huge. Ive notice there isnt that many authentic Mexican restaurants in this part of town, so seeing El Molcajete really stuck out from the rest. I hope they continue their growth and keep providing that wonderful experience.
If the rating had a minus I would put -5!!! To start with when you order cheese dip in any Mexican restaurant that I've ever been to it's always white cheese dip, this one was yellow like you get at a ballgame. The salsa was like tomato sauce. I ordered at it come lemon flavored she didn't tell me and I told her that I didn't like that just bring me a Diet Coke she charge me for both. On top of all of the food that was bad the service was terrible to!! I ate Mexican at least 2 times a week but if it was like this I probably would never eat it again!!!
Great authentic Mexican food. Clean atmosphere and food was notably FRESH. Great service from Karina. My wife and I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a great Mexican place in the area. You won't regret it.
Some pretty harsh reviews, unreservedly. Mexican food, not chain restaurant Tex-Mex and way better than fast food "border" fare. No liquor served but bottled beer is available. Good food in a relaxing environment.
