This isn’t a resort it’s not advertised as a resort. If you need a base for exploring or fishing the Keys this is it. Right in the middle not far from either end of the Keys. You can easily go explore Key West from here at half the price of staying there. Spend your money enjoying the keys not for a place to sleep..
Small rooms but if your doing outdoors things it's perfect for the money. Property could use a little TLC
They have a brand new building. Everything was clean and new.
This place should be knocked down. Photos on internet are nothing like the real place once you get there. Rooms were disgusting. I was shocked at the fact that this place is still standing. Room was filled with termites, rats and other insect. There were holes in the ceiling that were not visible to the eyes unless you got on a ladder or up on something that is how rats and other insects got in. The bed sheets were full of stains and pubic hair. The stove was not working at all (I wasn't able to cook for my family). There were no utensils and the microwave seemed like it would explode if you turned it on from so much rust and dirtiness. We couldn't leave because there was no vacancy anywhere else. Those were the longest 3 days of our life. My kids ended up in the hospital Sunday night cause of a rash all over their body. There was rat poop every morning on the counter. The only thing that worked in that place was the fridge and it was rusted all over. This place claims it is beach front but the only beach front you will get is a puddle of nasty smelling water. The pool seems like a tub and it’s full of Iguanas that go into the pool at any time. The doors from the rooms could be opened from the outside with a screw driver or anything like it. Your belongings are not even safe in there. The bathrooms are old and horrible. Pictures have been taken and will be posted. I would never recommend this place to anyone or stay here again, not even if they are the last hotel on earth. NO STARS FROM ME. I just had to press at least one to be able to post.
If this place is still there, AVOID IT in my opinion. I stayed here a couple of years ago in a spur-of-the-moment trip to the Keys (booked via a reputable 3rd party) and I was sorry when I arrived. The room was smelly, dirty, broken down and rusty, and the TV didn't work at all. Staff was nonexistent, except for what I assume was staff that entered my room during a day that I was out and left the room door wide open with all of my stuff still inside!

They put all pretty in pictures but once you get there its a whole different place the rooms are nasty and the beach its like a mud hole deffinitely not worth it
